Tell us about yourself
Growing up on the Gold Coast, I was fortunate to study dentistry at home. Before starting my job here at Floss, I spent a few years working in Toowoomba and nearly called it home!
When did you decide to become a dentist?
I knew I wanted to become a dentist towards the end of high school. Was an easy decision for me as my uncle was also a dentist.
What would you say is your dental philosophy?
Ethical, patient centred delivery with quality in mind.
How do you keep up to date with techniques, technology and teachings?
I believe education throughout life is key. I regularly attend comprehensive post graduate level courses to further skills in the fields of cosmetic, restorative, orthodontics and implantology.
As a dentist, what’s the best part of your day?
We see anxious patients all the time. The satisfaction comes from guiding my patients’ dental journey of overcoming their fears and concerns to see their goals come to fruition.
What is the one thing you want patients to know about your work?
I’d like my patients to know that their overall satisfaction is my treatment number one priority.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m a lover of sports: I like to stay fit at the gym, on the basketball and badminton courts. I also love trying different cuisines, always up for new recommendations!
What is something people may not know about you?
Growing up at school, I had dreams to become a professional basketball player. It’s never too late right?
What would you do if you weren’t a dentist?
A basketball coach or a full-time foodie.
