At Floss Family Dental, we have found that more and more patients are looking for a dentist who can provide them with a genuinely personal level of dental care, and who takes the time to understand the person behind the smile. We know how important it is that you can trust your dentist, and that the health of your smile can have a real impact on how you not only look, but how you feel.
For this reason, when you visit us, you’ll notice that we take the time to get to know you, and to understand your concerns, priorities and goals. This allows us to deliver truly individualised care.
When you come for your appointment, you’ll not only be looked after by your new Dentist, but by our gentle, highly-skilled support team, including a Dental Assistant who will be focused just on you.
To make your appointment as enjoyable as possible, we have Netflix available to watch whilst you’re in the dental chair, or even a Play Station 4 if that takes your fancy. Whilst you’re waiting (which we can assure you will never be for long!), we also have plenty of magazines, and toys and iPads for the kids.

The easiest way to make your first appointment is to call our Wellington Point or Victoria Point practice, and our friendly team will find a time that suits for you. Our practices are open Monday to Saturday, and we do offer some late night appointments for your convenience.
You can also make an appointment online here – this is a super convenient way to secure an appointment time, especially if you are trying to get organised outside of business hours. However, if a time that suits you isn’t available online, please don’t hesitate to call, as our team will try to accommodate your requirements.
If for any reason you do need to make changes to your appointment time, we’d appreciate as much notice as possible.
At Floss, we accept all private health funds, and can process all claims on the day of your appointment. If you have relevant private health insurance for your appointment, please bring your health fund card with you. The amount that you can claim will depend on your fund and level of cover. Our team can help to guide you if you need further information.
How to find us
Our Wellington Point practice is located at 1 Peterson Street, Wellington Point. We are right on the corner of Peterson Street and Main Road, next door to the GP clinic. Entrance is via the Peterson Road side.
There is ample free parking located at the rear of our centre. If the car park is full, there is plenty of free, unlimited parking along the street.
There is bus and train services within walking distance of our Wellington Point practice.
Wellington Point train station is located on the Cleveland line and is an easy 15 minute walk to our practice. If you are travelling via bus, we recommend hoping off at either the Birkdale Road at Wellington Point shops stop or Main Road at Aspley Street stop. How to find us
Our Victoria Point practice is located in Lakeside Shopping Centre. We are in Shop M-05, which faces Bunker Road (opposite St George Bank and the bus stop). Find our bright turquoise wall next to the park that borders The Espresso Bar and library! Entrance is via the Bunker Road side.
There is ample free parking at Lakeside Shopping Centre. The easiest (and closest!) place to park is in the section to the rear of Floss Family Dental that borders the library, vet hospital and cinema.
There is several, close public transport options for our Victoria Point patients. Regular bus services stop directly opposite our practice at the Victoria Point bus station. A 250 or 282 bus will link you directly to the Redland Bay Marina and bay islands. Timetable information is available at www.translink.com.au.
