Normally, getting a crown involves a couple of appointments extended over 2-3 weeks, with a temporary crown inserted between visits. We have invested in state-of-the-art scanning and milling technology at our practices in Wellington Point and Victoria Point, which allows us to produce same day crowns for suitable patients.
This technology makes the process of getting a crown significantly quicker and simpler than ever before. The digital 3D scanning capability means that accurately recording your tooth/teeth is less intrusive than ever, without the need for messy impressions. The milling technology then produces exceptional crowns that fit beautifully and are precisely colour matched to your other teeth, all whilst you relax in our waiting room. As a result, getting a crown can now be done on the same day.
